Welcome to the DBTA | Danish Business Travel Association webpage


As travel and travel related services are some of the largest corporate costs, there is a need for an in-depth understanding of travel management.

DBTA offers just that through a unique, neutral forum for all travel buyers and suppliers, in a network with the mission to promote the understanding, knowledge and skills required to succeed in corporate travel, meetings management and procurement. We believe diversity is a stregth, so regardless of job title, experience company spend etc. we welcome You to participate, share, learn and grow in DBTA.

The goal of DBTA is to provide added value to its members by providing the tools to ensure high-quality Travel and Meetings Management . The association also works with industry and government bodies to improve the general conditions for business travel and Travel Management, and DBTA is the Danish chapter of the international organization GBTA Europe, the European network of business travel associations.  DBTA also has a close working relationship with our colleagues in Sweden (SBTA), Norway (NBTA) and Finland (FBTA).

DBTA gives their members access to a network of experts, tools and education, and we strive to be proactive, sharing, inclusive and curious with a global outlook.

DBTA was founded in 1971 (14. September 1971) as the Travel Officers Club and today we have x135 members, both corporate travel buyers and travel suppliers. DBTA buyer members manage total travel expenditures of more than DKK 1 billion per year.
